Lynchburg, VA – In the wake of the horrific act of Islamic domestic terrorism at Fort Hood Texas, it has been learned that militant homosexual activists recently made similar online postings to those of Nidal Malik Hasan, threatening additional acts of terrorism against Christians.
In response to Maine’s natural marriage victory last Tuesday, “gay” activists have directly threatened to retaliate with “terrorism” and the “killing” of Christians on the popular homosexual activist “JoeMyGod” Weblog. Liberty Counsel notified the FBI which is investigating the matter. As of this morning, the offending blog entry had been removed. (captured version of post will be available at http://www.americansfortruth.com/).
Matt Barber, Liberty Counsel’s Director of Cultural Affairs, issued a statement shortly after Maine’s marriage victory (posted with additional commentary at AmericansForTruth.com). In reaction to that statement, blog poster “ColdCountry” wrote: “Will someone please give me a gun?” Poster “Fritz” warned: “What I fear is that once gay and lesbian people give up hope of achieving equality through nonviolent means, there will be radicals who will begin to hunt down haters… All it will take is a small group of radical zealots who are willing to kill for their cause.”
In reply to Fritz, “tex” posted: “Fritz....you say this like it's a bad thing? Maybe a bit of well organized terrorism is just what we need.”
“This happens in all cases where people are oppressed and lack representation,” continued Fritz. “We will have gay and lesbian people strapping bombs to their chests and blowing up churches. All it will take is one or two more losses like this. If marriage equality is taken away in one of the landmark states, we will see domestic terrorism arise very quickly. … In 1991, I witnessed gay and lesbian activists setting fire to buildings and beating people with baseball bats in Los Angeles.”
“tex” reiterated: “Still not seeing this as a bad thing Fritz ... [African gay activists] didn't gain their civil rights through being passive.”
In addition to Barber, pro-family leaders Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth and Maggie Gallagher of the National Organization for Marriage were specifically named targets.
Meanwhile, Michael Heath, former director of the Christian Civic League of Maine, was targeted by a direct death threat shortly after the passage of Question 1 last week. An anonymous caller telephoned the League, warning: “I am calling about Mr. Mike Heath, the Executive of your Christian Civic League of Maine. He thinks that gay people should have our rights revoked that we already have. Well I can tell him this – I’m a gay guy who owns guns, and he’s my next target.” Law enforcement was immediately notified.
Matt Barber commented: “All potential threats of terrorism and murder are very serious business. As we learned just last week, there are ideologically driven terrorists who walk among us. After passage of Proposition 8 in California we saw that many homosexual activists are capable of threats, vandalism and even violence. Those who either threaten or attempt to incite terrorism must be immediately brought to justice. Churches and Christian leaders around the country need to be on high alert. These threats of homosexual activist terrorism must be taken very seriously.”

I think it is truly intensely Ironic that those claiming discrimination and intolerance are so willing to perform those behaviors on those they disagree with. What is so sad is that they claim they have to be protected from Christians when they have demonstrated more violence and intolerance than Christianity is rumored to have done. They are truly in possession of a reprobate mind as it states in Romans. They are unable to reason or comprehend reality. It really is perilous times we are living in. Come quickly Lord Jesus. Do you not see that the quoted commenter in your story is expressing concern and worry that an unbalanced person might commit violence? And that he is obviously NOT calling for violence himself? Reading comprehension, please.
Hi Joe,
Maybe you should contact the FBI and ask them to check their reading comprehension. They're investigating terrorism threats based on the blog's entries.
Homosexual blog forecasts violence against Christians
Actually, Michael, they're not. A deranged anti-gay activist says he CALLED them about the blog's comments. The FBI has done nothing, probably having read the post, seen the big nothing that is there, then filed the complaint right next to the one from the cat lady with the tinfoil hat who says the man on TV is watching her.
Anybody can "call the FBI" about anything. Doesn't mean they're going to actually respond. If you can provide proof of the FBI actually taking this complaint seriously, please do so. Any relevant citation from an FBI agent or a news story will do.
And again, I must point out reading comprehension difficulties, this time from the headline of your link and your response to me. As you should know, it is not the "blog's entries" or the blog itself that "forecasts violence." This issue is what commenters have said. But accuracy has never been the hallmark of OneNewsNow, the Fox News of Christian media, so I'll excuse that one.
I am guessing that Joe drank from the proverbial kool-aid. I am sure he believes CNN, MSNBC, and all the other govt. controlled media outlets speak the honest truth. We all know that in these last days scoffers will come and here is one example of that. God bless you Michael.
Lee in Va. At least we got it right in this last election for Gov. Take care.
Why is the person who called the FBI to report this incident "deranged"?
Never mind answering the question. I know your answer. Because they are "ANTI-GAY" agenda, of course.
I know a little about Matt Barber. If Matt says he reported the incident to the FBI and they are investigating the case, he's been told that at the very least.
If the FBI doesn't equally enforce the law or do its job to his satisfaction, Matt will take them to task. He is an attorney for Liberty Counsel, an Associate Dean of Liberty University School of Law, and a thorn in the side of most every sort of evil that threatens our nation's future.
Have a nice day, Joe.
Michael if you will please allow me to respond to one of Joe's comments.
Joe could you please explain in light of your comment...
"The FBI has done nothing, probably having read the post, seen the big nothing that is there"
Why then did you find the need to remove your post and all the comments pertaining to it?
As I "comprehend" or should I say, discern that your decision to remove your post speak that you did have something to hide from those viewing your site.
If it were a joke and no harm intended, again why the removal?
You ask for reading comprehension in this matter, but with all due respect...
"Your actions speak louder than words".
Wait a minute!
The Joe posting here is THE Joe Jervis whose blog is at the heart of all this controversy?
That would explain a lot.
I'm with you Mike. Matt Barber is a lot more trustworthy then the liberal press people and especially liberal bloggers. Joe, you hold no credibility here. You appear to be just covering your backside by questioning our comprehension abilities. We comprehend just find. Besides, we have seen many examples on videos and in print of just how tolerant and inclusive the gay community can be with people they disagree with. DianefromKY
Wow. All sources are privately run and most are bloggers. Not one credible source in main stream media, not one. If the FBI is seriously investigating, it would be released. How is it proven that the FBI censored this threat?
INFO PLEASE.
Ryan,
As a retired police officer I know a little bit about how law enforcement operates. The FBI, nor any other law enforcement agency, that is looking into potential threats of TERRORISM is going to broadcast what it's doing for the whole world to know, particularly those who may be directly involved in it.
In this particular case, from a strictly legal viewpoint, I'm not sure any charges will be placed based on what I have personally read that was posted to the blog in question, but I would note that I haven't seen the entirety of the text. I've only seen a snippet of it.
Regardless of whether anyone is charged criminally, when one suggests that terroristic activities may be an acceptable course to affect political change and law enforcement becomes aware of it, there is going to be an investigation! Not only that, there is potential in this case for law enforcement to be concerned that individuals posting remarks like those seen may be the kind of person who would commit a hate crime as each of the people whose names were mentioned as targets of this potential criminality are pro-family Christian activists.
As for the mainstream media being your barometer for what law enforcement is or is not doing, let me clue you in on something. Law enforcement tells the liberal mainstream media as little as it can get by with where active investigations are concerned to prevent their efforts from being compromised.
And the mainstream media? Are you naive enough to believe that the mainstream media is going to provide reliable coverage of potential terrorist threat against pro-family activists by homosexuals when the liberals that comprise the vast majority of the media are pro-homosexual agenda themselves?
Remember, the mainstream media you trust is the same media that can't seem to see any communists or radicals in and around the Obama White House which conservative media, on the other hand, can both see and get video of espousing Mao in public places! Van Jones and Anita Dunn come to mind, among others.
The sting operations of President Obama's friends at ACORN? The mainstream media got around to reporting that, but only when the conservative media covered it so well that they were essentially forced to report it.
Who knows? The FBI's investigation into a matter like this may already be over or made to appear so for their purposes. Personally, I don't care if they have an ongoing investigation or not.
What I care about, as a pro-family Christian, is there was HATE posted to the pro-homosexual blog in question. Why? Because our friends in the liberal mainstream media like to present homosexuals as near incapable of hate! And why is that true? Because homosexuals, in order to further their agenda, need to be seen as perpetual victims in need of sympathy at all times.
My suggestion? Don't buy the hype, Ryan.
Wow, wacko. Good Luck to you and your little make believe world. Sources from all over the globe would take anything with merit, anything with a credible source. Its called fact checking, its called having your shareholders take pride in a media company that gives a good balanced info related fact checked story. LOOK INTO IT. Your a retired cop and you still dont get a little thing called public record? RIGHT.
Keep your little speech, I will be moving on to someone who actually would check sources and make a dent in the truth.
I'M a wacko, Ryan?
You've yet to post a comment that doesn't wreak of gullibility - and denial.
Have a nice weekend.

Mike- Just check your facts, dont pull from one source. Double check it and cross check it. When you come up multiple sources of info from different standpoints, it increases the credibility of your writings. I backtracked the link to this.....
http://americansfortruth.com/
then it goes nowhere. Not one mention of a threat against him on any local news outlet or online news outlet. Its one source with no link for the info. Why is that? Because anyone can write nonsense on a blog style website. It then gets picked up by people who rely on this info and the chain continues.
I am very active in certain communities on the Internet that trade points of view and discuss anything from Politics, Religion, Science and Media Bias. You should know that every source has to have merit and needs to be fact checked. As a retired Police Officer, in your investigations, you would do the same, am I right?
Im not saying your story is false or sucks or goes against my agenda. I dont personally care if you are spreading facts about gays or Muslims or Anti-Christian Hate groups. More power to you.
But you owe the community and your blog followers the chance to decide for themselves what is fact and what is someones agenda. Make some phone calls to the local papers, police, etc. You can request ANY info either on paper form, links to the story, or simple PDF through email. I have done it and never had an issue acquiring information that validates any standpoint I may have. Sure, I have hit dead ends, but I dont use the information, its not from a credible source.
Also you mentioned that the information for this case might be withheld until the investigation is through. You might be very right, shouldnt you as a responsible blog journalist wait until you have all the facts in the case?
Ryan,
I got this commentary from Liberty Counsel itself, namely from one J. Matt Barber. Matt, one of the victims, is my source.
Matt is the associate dean of Liberty University's Law School, a reputable source of information and, I'm proud to say, a frequent contributor of content that appears on this site. Matt and all of the pro-family activists named in the commentary know one another personally as well so none of this is a yarn being whipped up in someone's den.
You may not view Matt Barber and the individuals referred to in this post as trustworthy, but you should scroll up in the comments.
It seems the owner of the blog in question came over here and tried, unsuccessfully, to defend what was posted to his pro-homosexual blog in question, but vanished when he was asked why, if there had been nothing like what was alleged posted to his blog, he chose to pull the post in question down. That's pretty damning, in my opinion. Sadly for the guy, there were screen captures made before he could get rid of the evidence.
Lastly, when pro-family and Christian activists write, they post their content to sites dedicated to the values they hold dear, much like homosexual activists tend to post their commentaries and the like to blogs and sites in keeping with their beliefs and in furtherance of their goals.
The mainstream media, as I noted earlier, isn't interested in running with content published on evangelical Christian websites. And why? Because they're almost exclusively LIBERALS. The mainstream media could care less if homosexuals threaten Christians. Reverse the roles, however, and you'd be able to find a story like this on most any of the liberal news sources.
Ryan, you don't seem fond of the content here, which is fine. Each of us decides who we're going to trust and why. It's okay with me if you don't trust me. Maybe this site isn't the site for you to participate in. It happens. No biggie. Take care.
Sincerely,
Mike
Ryan, Your delusion is breathtaking. And you just reiterated my point about social liberals who demand tolerance but show none. DianefromKY
Hi Alan L. Bounville,
Your post wasn't approved for posting to the blog, but I'm going to address a few comments you made.
Liberty Counsel isn't a "gay hating machine" as you refer to it.
Liberty Counsel is a conservative pro-family, pro-Christian organization, both of which places Liberty Counsel at odds with the homosexual agenda.
If Liberty Counsel is guilty of hating honosexuals, as you suggest, you are no less guilty of hating Christians who hold GOD'S definition of marriage as both sacred and lift up marriage as the foundation of the family. If one is HATE, the other is as well in any common sense scenario!
You fail to understand things from the perspective of the Christian. Try and wrap your mind around this:
Something you're capable of doing, which bible-believing Christians aren't, is casting God's Word aside as though it is of no effect. That being the case I find it ironic you would ask "WWJD" (What would Jesus do?) in your comments. The answer to that is simple. What Jesus would do is BE OBEDIENT to God's Word!
God forbids same-sex romantic relationships and, naturally, opposes same-sex marriage. Jesus Christ, God Himself, stands in perfect unity with the Holy Bible's teachings which are consistent on the issue of homosexuality. The bible never once comes within a hint of approving of same-sex marriage so you should learn to be tolerant where Christians who are trying to live a life according to God's will are concerned.
You asked why none of the states which have given same-sex rights to homosexual couples have blown up yet. Well Alan, Sodom and Gomorrah didn't blow up either, at least not right away. But did God's wrath fall upon them in the end? Yes - and it left them utterly destroyed.
In the book of Jude we're told that Sodom and Gomorrah are set forth as an example for others to consider who want exactly what you do, which is to turn our nation into what God destroyed. How do you expect Christians to respond to that? Here's my response, "No thanks, Alan. I think those of us who are Christians will pass on calling God's wrath down on our nation to the extent we're capable of doing so."
And comparing Christian opposition to same-sex marriage to SLAVERY? Come on, Alan! You can't be serious.
Lastly, Alan, the reason a lot of the same people who stand in opposition to socialized health care oppose same-sex marriage is because we're conservatives!
Socialism won't be any better for you than it will for anyone else if we allow that to come to pass. For the single mom who has trouble taking care of her children's medical needs? Sure, we feel sorry for her in that and would like to see something done to help her out, but socialism is not the answer. Wherever socialism rears its ugly head, humanity ends up paying a far heavier price than is is presently being paid here in the United States of America by most anyone! Socialism, communism? They're bad, Alan. Nothing but bad!
I'm sorry we disagree on things but I don't hate you. I wish Christ for you! Everyone at Liberty Counsel does too, I'm sure.
-Mike-
